Hard Love...or hardheaded lovers...

He is CEO of his family legacy.
She is trying to start her business.

He is a play boy.
She can't remember her last relationship.

He is knocked off his feet.
She is sure she's dreaming.

Two people who have a past with different interpretations of its meaning. She won't be broken again. He had no idea.

It's hard to love.

Joanne has done it again!!! I loved Hard Love! Once I started reading, I didn't want to stop!! I absolutely fell in love with Noah. He is loving, caring, alpha and overall a great guy. Margo is a head strong, independent and caring woman. When their paths reconnect, you can almost feel the sexual tension between the two of them. Speaking of sexual tension, the sex scenes are smoldering!!! To see the two of them together, it's simply beautiful. You could feel the chemistry between them while reading and like all of Joanne's books, Hard Love will definitely give you all the feels! This was a definitely a favorite read of mine by Joanne.

Joanne Schwehm's best work till date.

Hard Love showed us that sometimes, love alone isn't enough.

We had two people: Margo and Noah who start a relationship. At first, Margo is reluctant to start anything serious with Noah due to their history.

Noah on the other hand, realizes that his best friends little sister is a grown capable woman , he is attracted to her and slowly realizes he wants a serious exclusive relationship with her.

I loved reading both POV's. They were so real and honest. Margo and Noah read like real life people. People you can easily relate to.

I loved Margo as a character! She stood up for herself, she made Noah work to be with her. He had too woo her and he did in a spectacular way!!

How many men do you know who will watch Chick flicks with you??? Noah did!

Noah had to deal with his issues and fear of commitment. While its nothing new in fiction, the way Joanne Schwehm dealt with the subject was realistic and different.

Margo flat out tells Noah that she wants and deserves more.

Noah comes to the realization Margo is the one for him, and for her he will need to compromise.

And that is what they do.

Margo and Noah are mature character who act their age. There is no unnecessary drama or angst.

The ending was beautiful as well: Margo and Noah are together, they are committed to one another and in the end, that is whats important.

Just what I needed!! Not just 4 stars but 4.5 stars!! This book was such a joy, it made me laugh, cry, swoon, and cheer for these two characters. Margo is this ugly duckling turned swan that had the hots for one of her brother's friends since she was in high school. Noah is the handsome best friend of Margo's brother, he has a jaded history with a playboy background. Well one day they meet as adults, Margo is no longer the awkward ugly duckling anymore and Noah finally sees her as more than his best friend's little sister. Their jounery is sweet, kind, frustrating and messy just what I like in my romantic comedies. I loved all of the pop culture references, maybe they show my age but they were welcomed lines that made me smile.
