This was an entertaining read that I didn't want to put down, even thought I usually don't enjoy relationship fiction. I found the abundance of humor and honesty very refreshing, and though the formatting was odd at first, that feeling didn't linger for long. I remained interested in the leading character's story throughout all his imperfection, lust and heartbreak, and relished his wit and wisdom.

Brontez Purnell’s unique voice shines through in this collection of queer short stories and vignettes. The characters that we follow are mostly queer men who make bad decisions and have lots of sex with lots of partners. This collection is an interesting mixture of dark and light. Most of the stories are enjoyable, although a few of them don’t necessarily come to any conclusions. I’m going to have to read more of Purnell’s work because this collection was thoroughly engaging.
