A sad yet cozy little in-between! Except now I wish it was Christmas.

I liked that this followed the aftermath of a war and the focus it had on others outside the inner circle. Specifically to the city itself. Everyone is healing, there is no blame, and they want to help each other. It was a nice sense of community and understanding.

My main drawback was
as an infertile woman trying desperately to have her own child, the ease with which Feyre and Rhys were able to just start was hard to swallow. I love these characters and want them to succeed, and I understand the excitement of starting on this new path. But I was also left with a pain in my heart. Rhys told Feyre it could take a while, and although I don't wish this on anyone, I still had a tiny thought hoping it would take time for them. I just don't want to read about how easy it was for them while I'm out here struggling. It's selfish, but it's there. It would be int resting to see if she delves into infertility, though. Even if it comes from a different reason.

I did think it was cool that small threads of book three were brought in so I had more time to form an opinion. It'll be interesting to see how they unravel in the next book!
