A riotous read! Over the top characters (in a good way) who also showed their charm, sweetness and loyalty to each other. Set in the 1720s (ish), the plot weaves in and out of "Molly houses" in London as the mollies are gradually killed off in a race to identify who the spy in the midst is. I didn't guess!

I am broken, this book had me sobbing 😭 and no word of a lie, I feel so inspired by it that if I ever have a baby I now want to call them Molly 🥺 a powerful story focussed on love, grief and the fight of the Mollies in old London. Beautiful range of characters, nice easy chapter lengths and lovely writing. Recommend 🫶🏼

This story was so sad and so violent… the scene setting was lackluster, so I couldn’t always picture the scene, but then the violence was so graphic. I just couldn’t immerse myself

Dear god. Just- what a great piece of literature. I adore that its written in such way that it feels like an old timey novel, like it's a work written at the time it takes place.
So dark and so emotional, it took a moment to grip me but once it did, my god, it didn't let me go.
