This motherfucker better put some of those dangling attribute points in wisdom and intelligence in the next book. Loved the main character and his no-fucks-to-give carpe diem attitude, but I don't think my heart can bear the strain of another book without a bit of a common sense upgrade for Montana.

Still really enjoyed this book though; narrator was perfect for the character.

Ha!

This book is a redemption arc of Montana, once a bad guy trying to be a good guy in a new world. Does he come off as a good guy? Maybe, sort of? He saves people from villains and then kills the villains brutally.

This book is a really good example of a trope done right. The OP character in a LitRPG (or Isekai)
The character is really OP and by the end he becomes really strong (who wouldn't with so many points in strength) but it never felt forced. He basically lucked out and then he made the most out of the situation.

The fight scenes are quite graphic in nature but also, they have a sense of motion that is so many times missing in books. It was easier for me to visualize the fight. But yeah, too graphic at times.

The book is stat heavy but I didn't mind it. It didn't ever interrupt the flow of the story as some of the other LitRPGs I've read.

Overall I liked the story and will most likely continue.

Not terribly deep and super fun! Reads like you're watching someone play a video game. If you need a nice easy read and love RPGs, give it a go!

DNF; flat characters, uninteresting story, nothing happening.
