Joe Grey is the sole witness to a car crash and experiences severe frustration in trying to communicate his information to the police; after all, he is only a cat. Still, despite irritated owners and interfering puppies, Joe gets the job done. Tense, tighly written, and keeps the reader guessing along with the feline detective.
