I enjoyed the audiobook but I was sad that I missed out on the visuals!

This was the last of the required reading from my Lit of Black Lives Matter class, for those of you who were keeping up with that.
It was a fairly light read. 👌 Most of the language used is pretty easy to understand and the book is divided into short sections/stories.
It also included some imagery which I thought was amazing and really strengthened the impact of the text.

I'm scared to say what I think so I'll just say that 80% of this is pretty good and that even though the poems were a little pretentious they were mostly okay and then i'll just leave it at that cos I'm white and middle-class so any criticism will almost certainly be construed as racist, other than that the real reason most people enjoy seeing Serena Wiliams lose is because it's always fun to see loud Americans lose regardless of the eumelanin in the basale stratum of their epidermis.
