Yet another in the list of things I read because my stepdaughter left it lying around the house. This one has pieces of inspired lunacy, and the concept is fun. This isn't great literature, and it's not at the level of something like Daniel Pinkwater or Polly Horvath, but it will do in a pinch.

I read this because James is reading it and likes it. It's cute I guess, but I'm not planning on reading the sequels. It has a little bit of an environmentalist element to it, but other than that, it's mostly silly.

I've been reading this book since my son finished it and he likes me to read what he is reading. Not a big fan. It's silly and I can see why he likes it, it's just frivolous.
