Fantastic! This children's book has a lot to say to adults as well. Silverstein's simple yet playful speech is entertaining for children and adults alike.

There are some good lines in the poems, but these were definitely more enjoyable as a child.

This is one of those books that you read once, and it sticks with you forever. Sweet, funny and quirky. You just can't help but love Shel Silverstein!

I don't know, it just didn't hit the same same way as Where the Sidewalk Ends.

One of the best books ever!

This is the book I daydream about reading to my future toddlers, although I'm not even pregnant yet.
I just feel like it's so absurd, with so many lessons, and funny, I want my kid to have a sense of humour and this will shape it.
I love how Silverstein plays with language.
I'm still getting used to reading poetry books, still don't quite know how to read poetry books, but we'll get there !

The only poems I really enjoyed were "Monster I've Met" and the Hippo one. This truly wasn't as funny or thought provoking as I remember it being as a child.

This book is perfect to read to kids.

Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Where the Sidewalk Ends. A Light in the Attic had a few poems that were forgettable to me.

Wow. So stunning. It's amazing how simple words can punch so much meaning, even when it seems like it means nothing at all.
