Not a perfect novel, but charming and moving nonetheless.

Well this was a disappointment! The premise of these two being stuck in a house together due to the storm and snow sounded like a great premise for a Christmas romance but it was so slow and just boring. This might work for others but it was just way too slow and plodding for me.

Burrowes' books always have some historical inaccuracy and huge secrets that turn out to be nothing. But, I usually don't care because her characters are so interesting and the romance is so great. But in this case, both the characters and romance fell flat for me. They're just two nice people who happened to get stranded together.

Another lovely addition to the Windham family saga. I am a little confused about the time line but I guess that is artistic. license.

This is so boring and I just don’t care at all about the baby they are taking care of which seems to be the main part of the story

Gets kind of slow in the middle and I’m not really sure how H and h fell in love but fall in love they did! Story picks up once the two of them start interacting with other people.

A cute historical romance with mistaken (or unknown) identifies and an unexpected baby.
