Read this book now! I want to thank Tarana for writing this book. It was painful, enlightening & infuriating. Any community justice advocate must read this book and sit with it for awhile.

This audiobook is excellent. Burke's story is both burden and liberation. She works through shame and trauma and grief in such an impactful way. As a reader you experience her growth and healing firsthand, and that's a special thing to witness.
