DNF - This seems to be a running theme with me lately, that once my loan has expired with the library I don't go back and renew it. My book club already met to discuss this title and I really enjoyed what I had read so far and all the topics that they pointed out but again, so many other things come up and they pull me away from finishing.

Just couldn’t get into it

I wanted to enjoy this book. It got a little too convoluted for its own good.

It was….it was just not good. What a concept for a book and just not done well. It was weirdly paranormal? And the paranormal didn’t even make sense. I so badly wanted to like this. Who wouldn’t want to be transported into their favorite book?

This book moved so fast the whole time. I felt like there wasn’t any down time which was really enjoyable. The concept of this book was fantastic and while the execution wasn’t as strong as I hoped I loved the Lovecraftian horror vibes of this book.

Nothing interesting going on at the halfway point. Rather read something that catches my attention

I can't even finish it. I feel like it is not as advertised and I gave it a really fair shot, I am like two hours into the audiobook and I am never excited to start listening again. I just don't want to waste my time with it anymore. I have so many books in my to read list that I would rather get started on one of those than waste anymore time on this.
