The only reason I finished this book : Patterson and Alex Cross.

Otherwise, this was a disappointment. Patterson is better than to fall back on a cardboard model like Dan Brown. Here's to hoping that he is and that this is just one of those books you write to bring food to the table.

124 Kapitel auf ca. 400 Seiten - das nennt man Action: bla bla, cut, gun shots, bla bla, explosion, car chase, bla bla, boom!, screech, kerplow, run run run.

You're not gonna get bored with this one. I did like it, though to begin with #10 in a series spoilered quite a few of the previous books, so I don't see myself starting this series with #1 now.

Another good entry in the series. Like any Patterson book it follows the same general structure, but I do like the Alex Cross series and it’s an entertaining and easy read for a quiet weekend.

This was the first book of the Alex cross series that I got bored with reading. Yes it has the usual Patterson suspense but the story line of terrorism is not good. One of the few things I do not enjoy reading about.

Really liked the story and the twists, did not like the ending. Seems like a major cop out to solve the case in that way, but it seems like it would actually end this way, by accident.

Book #2 read in 2006

This was not one of the better Cross books. I don't know if I would have liked it better had I read it or not. I was often lost and had to relisten to understand what was happening. Also, Alex's family was not featured as much in this novel, and I love them. Of course, I will continue to read the series, but I was a bit disappointed in this book.
