This was actually my least favorite of the bunch when I first read it, but after re-reading this series going on 9 times it has moved up, and I find myself liking it more. I'm just not a huge fan of rock star books...
Re-Read January 2016 Still one of my least favorites of the series. Mace still comes off as a douche...
Re-read December 2017 -- I did a re-read of this one today. Initially, this was my least favorite of the series, but upon MANY re-reads it has now moved past book one. But Mace is still a douche. Who breaks up with a person as a TEST then cops an attitude when she is rightfully pissed off about it!
September 8th, 2018 -- I still think Mace is a douche, and every time I re-read this book it makes me remember that I really want Erik to get his own happily ever after...sigh.

I think Mace has the worst past of them all. His story is indeed the heaviest. I didn't like this story as much as I thought I would. It was just okay. I still love Mace. It's just that after I read this... I felt like there's something missing... like it's incomplete. Hmmm..
Anyhoo.. I think that this would have been better without so many POV's.

3.5 stars.
I do not know what to say about these books anymore, this is the sixth one I've read in the last five days and if that doesn't say it all I don't know what will. Stella was all cool and Mace was all broody and yeah idk anymore - it was a good time.

As always, I loved this book just like I loved all the others. The plot was different than the first five because it was not centered on Stella trying to escape a past of some sort, it was simply an all encompassing fast paced book. I also loved that while obviously there were Rock Chick and Hot Guy Bunch problems, they were all solved relatively quickly and not drawn out, which sometimes authors do. Yay Kristen for providing yet another awesome novel!
My only problem is that while the end of the epilogue was fantastic and made up for the fact that it was not Stella who was narrating, I HATED the fact that it was put five years later listing everyone's children and significant others, especially those we don't know about yet, because it made me not want to read the next two. Honestly right now I am sitting on my bed struggling to open the next one up because I know how it ends and that bothers me. That epilogue was written as if this was the last in the series and I did not like that.
Besides this actual extreme end of the novel, this book was the SHIT and I loved it...and Stella....and Mace. <3

H rating: 4.5/5 - Mace. NO communication during their original relationship and I expected so much more from my sweet Mace, but does he turn that around and make up for it? YES!
h rating: 4.5/5 - Stella. Again, communication, but man do I get why you held back, and honestly I don't know that I would be any different in your shoes.
Drama: 5/5 - ALL Rock chicks have drama. THIS one was crayyy!
Thoughts: Onto the next one! LOVE this couple!!

How in the heck did I not rate this 5 stars the first time around? This book is the shit and rocketed up to my top 3 in this series. Love Mace and Stella and their love for one another. And that epilogue? Everything.

This is a heart breaking story, at times i found it a painful read, 'Mace's experience we have learnt a little about in previous books, i think with Jet but when we find out the detail its tear jerking.
At times i found Mace a little infuriating, he has his own breed of Alpha, we know from other books he is moody but at times i could have kicked him, esp at a particular point when he walks away. AGAIN!!
I would suggest listening to the songs that the band and Stella play while reading, the lyrics express some of the story.
