It was decent and reminded me of Frankenstein. Had a lot of similar points and reactions to persecution but were less interesting. The villain is not sympathetic and is very one-dimensional.

Really liked the illustrations. the story was compelling but the motives of him were very unclear, I may need to read the normal prose version to find that out.

Never read the original and I am only familiar with movie adaptations but I absolutely loved this graphic novel version of an H.G. Wells classic.
