I didn't hate the book, but it was kind of disappointing. The world building isn't good. The plot and pacing isn't good either, in my opinion. The spice in the book is good, but that's not enough to redeem it for me. I am kind of curious about what happens next but I'm not sure I want to read the next one. I can see how some people may enjoy this book, but it was just a little shallow for me.

I wanted to love this so bad but this felt like all of the booktok cliches smashed into a dark fantasy book with a pretty cover but the content was NOT good. I was so excited to because I love dark fantasy especially after just finishing Phantasma which I LOVED.
It’s like someone’s Harry Potter house factions/hogwarts but make it dark fantasy and they all talk about sex and f*cking every chapter but out of context.
Also not enemies to lovers, more insta lust than anything. I wanted to like this so much, I didn’t. :(
