This is a dark-academia romantasy filled with mystery, spooky vibes, and plenty of surprises. Set at Hollow’s Grove University, the story pulls you into its secrets and supernatural world, making it perfect for a fall read. I loved discovering twists right alongside the main character, and the ending completely shocked me! Both characters are worth the read. The balance between the plot and the romance was just right, and I can’t wait to grab book two to see what happens next. If you love romantasy with a bit of spice, this one’s for you!
This was a tricky one for me, last year I did DNF book 1 but I recently got it in my FairyLoot subscription so I decided to give it another go but on audio. I do wish I had just left it because this turned out to be one I didn’t enjoy as much as I would have liked.

I still have mixed feelings about the ending, but I cannot stop thinking about this book and am ready for the second. The only reason I took off a half star is because... well... if you read it you'll understand at the end. It was rushed.
