Since it’s getting into the fall season, I have decided to read more dark themed books, so I gave this one a try out of the blue. And let me tell you it did not disappoint. The way the author handled the suspense and the plot twist of everything was nicely done. I will say that some of the characters personality was a bit annoying to myself, but that’s just because of personality clashes. I would recommend this to people who love anything with witches, vampires, covens and secrets. It’s not your typical witchy book as it does play into the darkness of it all which I’m very excited to see it continue in the second book.
Just an FYI, this does have a bit of spice so if you are uncomfortable with it, there is a lot of tension and talks about sexual activity. Take that as you will.

The main character was a 16 year old student and the MMC was a timeless vampire and also her headmaster. Too far.

I flew through this book! It was dark and thrilling from the beginning. I loved Willow and Gray. The magic system was fully explained and all my open questions were answered.
