M. Robinson finally gave us the answers. By 20% I had part of it figured out before 50% I knew exactly where it was going. If you truly want the answers pay attention to the details.

This duet is probably going to get a lot of cranky people fired up. You know from the end of book one it's going to go one way or another. Everyone had their own conclusions. People were throwing out theories and getting combative. Only one person knew how this was going to play out. Everyone knew it was going to be tragic. For whatever reason, Bailey wasn't there. Their love story was epic and everything romance novels are about so...It was going to be tragic. The end of something beautiful.

We all hoped it wasn't an ending and it wasn't. It was a middle. Now read the rest and tell me...which way were you leaning.

Who was your happily ever after? Who do you see in the future?

Other than Harley and Jackson! Lol. I'm super excited about that. Oh and look out for cameo appearances from old friends. I almost spit showered my kindle when Noah opened his mouth. Watch your electronics when he's around!๐Ÿ˜†

I finished the story in one sitting and I have no words. My thoughs will not do this justice. Yes - it is that good. Just when you think you can see where the story is going - BAM - the Queen of Angst knocks you on your ass and takes you on a wild ride. A beautifully written story filled with high emotions, fabulous characters and an honest heart wrenching plot that sucked us all in with Book 1 and slayed us with Book 2. M. Robinson continues with her utter perfection of true live and family drama. 5 stars are not enough. This Duet will be another of M's books that will be read and re-read again and again.

I think I may have just found another one of my all time favorite duets!
Powerfully riveting, this book consumed me; mind, body and soul.
Like WOW. I honestly had no idea where this story was going and I never couldโ€™ve guessed where it took me. But, when I tell you I was wholly unprepared. I was literally on edge during this book. I was desperately anxious for answers and to know what the future looked like for these people. M. Robinson has written an epically heart stopping love story that seriously rocked me to my core. There were moments where I was literally shaking. Heart in my stomach, lump in my throat, the emotions so potent I felt them in the depths of my bones. Then that twist, talk about speechless, I was totally floored. This book got all my tears and every one deserved because I was absolutely shook. There are no words for how much I positively loved this duet. It is devastatingly beautiful in all the ways and I know it will be one that will stay with me forever.

Well I was certainly not expecting some of the things, but this duet will have your emotions, it was more than what I expected and definately a story to remember. The named queen of angst had me on edge and took my breath away with this conclusion.

What do you do when your at the cross roads. The fork in your life that will lead you further down the rabbit hole or the one that will bring you home. โฃ
Do you take the path of least resistance or do you buck up and fight. โฃ
Will you join the present or will you surrender yourself to your past. โฃ
What if your past was your present and could save you. Do you take that chance when you've lost everything?โฃ

For Adien Pierce there is nothing more for him. His love and devotion for Bailey is beautifully written. You feel the emotion and you know that without Bailey he is empty, lost a shell of himself. Untill her. The woman single handedly making his family whole. โฃ

I really loved this book, and the reason I gave it only 4 stars is because I wish we would of got more of Bailey in this story. I feel like we got cheated a little not getting her whole story. I would of loved to know more about her road and illness.

Oh my poor little ravaged heart- this story ripped it apart and glued it back together again. What an epic conclusion to this angst, unexpectedly moving, deeply emotional duet. I feel both gutted and rejuvenated all at once- only M. Robinson has the power to punch me so sharply with an emotional avalanche.

This review will be a bit vague because I donโ€™t want to spoil anyone on book one or book 2- but know this, the first book in this duet wasnโ€™t at all what I thought it was going to be- but I was hooked. I wanted to know and understand these complex parallel stories- figure out the heart of poor broken Aiden, climb inside Bailey to understand here, protect sweet Cami- and then that ending- I needed answers, I needed hope.

I rarely cry in books- but this one had me ugly crying, multiple times. That is how deeply Monica had me feeling for these characters- how absorbed I was in their hope, their pain, their tensions. What I loved about this duet is that this wasnโ€™t just words I read, someone elseโ€™s story I enjoyed- i EXPERIENCED this book. Deep in my soul- down to my center of my beating heart. These characters, their intriguing and complex journey, the bittersweet nature of the love between them, it drew me in and held me captive- I felt every smile, every kiss, every tear, as if they were my own.

Monicaโ€™s writing is so accessible- so inviting- this story feels so intimate, the words have their own heartbeat. The way she wove this narrative was so clever- so captivating- weโ€™re both in the thick of it and can never fully understand, because we donโ€™t have all the pieces. But, when we finally get the whole picture- my heart fell out of my chest, breathless turning pages. What an epic conclusion- and the epilogue is just so delightful- a sweet and charming reward after this emotional rollercoaster. My tears werenโ€™t yet dry before I added happy ones on top.

M. Robinson is the queen of angsty and emotionally turbulent love stories- but it is clear to me that she understands love better than many. Her stories depict how love is not a fairytale- it is complex and complicated, full of contradictions and challenge, winding and jagged path, but that when you find it- find the person that calls to your soul, there is nothing more powerful, more consuming. She always delivers all the epicness of romance but gives us the real, the gritty, the nuanced and raw journey it takes to get there. Grab your Kleenex and some wine- youโ€™ll need it.
