I’m trying to read through my backlog on my Nook, since I sometimes go on buying sprees and then never look at the books again. So I might have read this before, I might not have.
This is such a short story that I have to wonder if I paid anything for it. I think it was only 15 pages? If that. But still, I did find that I liked it. I have a vague memory of Eve and Adam, and of liking that story well enough (maybe I’ll reread it) and this filler is written in such a way that I do find myself wanting to know more about Evening.
So I suppose it does it’s job. I can’t justify giving it any more stars due to its length, but I think for what it was trying to accomplish, it got the job done.

This was like 10 pages long. It wasn't bad, but it's hard to rate something that short. Anyway, it was free on the iBooks store so it's not like I paid anything for it.
(Also, I'm not reading short stuff for the sake of the goal, but because I'm waiting for a book in the mail and I don't want to start anything long before it gets here because I really want to start it right away..)

For a prequel short story, it really doesn't tell you too much. The reader doesn't learn anything more than what they've already read in Eve & Adam. It's a cute introductory story of some of the characters, but it's not something I'd go out of my way to read nor recommend for anyone else to do so. For those that have not read Eve & Adam, DON'T judge that book on this short story!

Seriously. This is only 10 pages of "prequel" and it added absolutely nothing to the story.
