entertaining and tense but wrapped up a little too nicely. some of the logistics were a little questionable and the reactions from some of characters, especially at the end, were a little farfetched. but still a fun read!

I'm gradually adding books I've read in 2021 to give a true reflection of the books I've read since keeping records.  This was the first book I read in 2021, and is what kick-started my reading journey having put reading on the  back burner whilst bringing up the children,  previously being an avid reader. This was a dark stalker type psychological thriller based on Mira being stranded and accepting a lift with 4 others to get home. It does try to add tension, but the characters are not particularly likeable so whilst it should have been tense with the things that go wrong it somehow missed the mark for me. Passed the time and was OK.

i actually really enjoyed five total strangers!

mira was a very likable main character. i really wanted her to figure out the mystery!

the plot was interesting and kept me hooked. i’ve never read a book with this concept before, which btw is a very unique one!

overall, i’d definitely recommend this book if you want to read a mystery!! ⋆⑅˚₊

Awful. Predictable. Infuriating. Don't bother.
