OmG, I should have informed myself before starting to read how many pages this nonsense novel has…

Characters: great
Plot: uff…. NOPE, very disappointing (loved the ideas in general but the execution was just a no-go)
Writing style: see above. I like Stone’s writing style, it keeps me going and I love reading her novels but this was just sooo short…

Seriously, I really liked the plot cause there is a lot of hurt and guilt in there but it was just wayyy too short!!
You can’t just hand Chet’s and Hannah’s story to me and then expect me to be content with this abrupt ending!!!
We never get to know how Chet forms a bond with Hannah’s sons or how they finally tell her older son the big secret.
We never get to know how they talk to James. We never get to know the youngest son or the sons at all, really. How they get over their father’s death. How Hannah copes with his death.
Also, she keeps saying how guilty she feels now that she and Chet have this chemistry again and yet she totally just seems to forget that as soon as he can’t let go of her.
Yeah, right, totally authentic… Grr.

So, yeah, I’m disappointed right now. This story would have had soo much potential…
