4 stars - It was really good
We have pivoted away from Denji and are now learning about a young woman named Asa Mitaka, who is also a student, and is struggling with making friends at school and a chicken devil being a part of their class. Mitaka’s story has been very interesting so far. She is struggling with her anger at devils because they are responsible for the deaths of her family but we also see her struggling in school with making friends, and the one person who she thinks is her friend, wasn’t really a friend. All this leads to Mitaka becoming the War Devil, which was an awesome reveal in my opinion.
I am really enjoying this War Devil saga so far and her quest to destroy Chainsaw Man. I am really curious to learn more about the War Devil, aka Yoru, and learn why she has such a hard on for Denji. Also I am very curious about what all Denji has been doing during this time, outside of fighting devils, but I am really enjoying Mitaka’s story so far.
