This book is not a narrative about Pussy Riot, but rather a collection of letters, lyrics, poems, documents and statements surrounding the group's "Punk Prayer" protest in Moscow. It's an interesting collection of material that shines a light on the coziness of the Russian church with the Russian government -- and what happens when people, especially women, challenge that authority.

The poetry and letters to Pussy Riot were interesting. The court transcripts were a bit slow, but all in all an interesting collection.

Articulate positions and defenses by the imprisoned members of the Russian protest band, deftly and consistently using media critique and religious language. But the rest of the books sources are varyingly bad to blah.
