***** Spoilers*****
My first book from this author and I did enjoy it.
We meet Madison Kate (MK) when where and her bestie( Bree) are at a underground MMA fight. Things go wrong when shots are fired and MK meets three guys, Archer, Kody and Steele. People are hurt and die and the guys tell MK they are helping her to get out but in the end MK ends up arrested and charged with the crimes that took place that night, Riot night. A year later MK returns home and finds out the three she’s blames for her downfall are living in her house with her fathers support.
Lines get blurred and she finds herself starting to open up to Steele and Kody, she finds out she has a stalker and has had one for years. She blames Zane leader of the reapers, and Archer brother.
On the anniversary of Riot night the guys take MK to a party, insisting she can’t stay home due to her stalker, at the end of the night truths are told that make MK question her memory of the death of her mother that she witnessed( from a closet, her mother locked her in to protect her).
MK blames Zane for the murder as her was there when MK was let out of the closet. Turns out Zane and her mother we’re having an affair. After the guys spill these truths MK is so upset she gets in a car and flees going to fast and gets hit by another car. She makes her way to the amusement park where riot night was and is convinced her stalker is following her.
She ends up getting stabbed and thinks it’s archer.
She passes out blaming the guys.
Really did like this book, need to find out who the stalker is and truly what Archer problem is, will definitely finish this series

MK is not a character I could particularly relate to so I struggled a bit with her age and reactive responses to things, but the men (despite their morally grey-ness) kept me reading and wanting to find out what happens next.
Really enjoyed the twists and turns and looking forward to the next installment.
