Okay how did he think it would be funny to dress her up and look like Barney. I read her other book called Kissing Kosher and that book was a 5 star read for me I enjoyed that book a lot, it was very good. This little rom com will make you laugh and smile. I think that her parents knew all along was the best part it was so funny, and she was so nervous even though they already knew. I love how supportive they were about her writing Christmas books, and also her books being turned into movies. I love that when everything was messed up she stepped in to help and save his party, even though they weren't on the best terms. I am excited to read more books by this author so far all the books that I have read by her have been great. While reading I did have to look up some stuff, and it did help me understand it better which was good. Also Rugelach sounds so good I would love to try them one day to see what they taste like and how good they are. I go into most books blindly not knowing what they are about, sometimes they turn out to be great books other times they turn out to be not the best books that have been read or written. I hope to read more books by this author in the future.

Enemies to lovers trope so of course there is a huge misunderstanding looming in the background but overall a fun and original concept. Loved the main characters when I got over the (usual) inability to talk to each other about anything important. But then there wouldn't be a romance book with this trope.

This book was…fine? I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it. It was cute, I guess, but the whole trope was a little too on the nose of a Hallmark holiday movie for me maybe.

This was a super cute romcom of childhood lovers turned "enemies".
In the end, most of their issues come from misunderstandings.
I was rooting for the two of them to end up together from the very first page, and there were a few points where I just wanted to either yell at them to stop being so in their head and second-guessing to hugging them for comfort.

This book glorifies the murders of Palestinians. Seriously disgusting and dehumanizing.
