I really enjoyed the first 100 pages and wanted to like the rest. I didn’t hate it but honestly found it boring and redundant. This book was drawn out and just didn’t really do it for me:/
Also I didn’t like any of the characters because of their extremely pessimistic inner monologue which made for a negative book overall.

Very engaging read! I figured I would get bored after some time, but I was always curious as to what would happen next.
Read this as part of a book club selection.
This was so good and kept me guessing. It was told in present then a flashbacks and then to present.
It was interesting to see that the situation in the coffee shop that had Nina so against Vanessa wasn’t even remembered in Vanessa’s point of view.
I felt bad for Benny, but I liked how the author didn’t minimize his schizophrenia. Nina presence wouldn’t fix his schizophrenia but everyone being together and taking medicine was a more realistic outcome than me thinking if they get together and he’d be cured. I’ve read too many outlandish romance books to think that was possible.
I also forgot about the prologue until I got to the epilogue and they mentioned the same thing. I should’ve known what was happening but this author just kept me interested.
