The first half of the book I really enjoyed! A story about young love which sadly took another turn. The girl turns into a grifter who then decides to take revenge on the guys family. The second half of the book, however, I really couldn't get through. I would maybe recommend, but probably not.
This story had so much potential! I wish there was less overlap between narratives. It ruined some of the suspense for me. The ending felt rushed but was still rewarding.

I don’t know that I would recommend this book bc my favorite part was the epilogue
I picked this book up at the library on a whim and I will say it was worth the read! The novel follows two women from very different lives, one a con and the other an heiress. The two women cross paths in a plot that has unpredictable twists and turns.
This was a very underwhelming read. The characters and plot were the standard tropes of any 90s Lifetime movie you watch in the middle of the day. The story did not live up to its intriguing description, unfortunately.
I really enjoyed this one. I always like books written from multiple perspectives, so that was a fun take. I’m not sure this book could handle any more twists and turns! Sheesh!
