This book is well paced, and an absolutely wild ride. People are never who they seem - never.

Thoroughly enjoyed the latest from Janelle Brown. Vanessa and Nina are fascinating characters whose worlds collide twelve years after a one time meeting. The story is told from both points of view which always adds great perspective. I never anticipated the ending and was left satisfied when it was all said and done. Great read!

Not the thriller I expected. Written from two perspectives made it interesting but also repetitive and long.

Con artists Nina & Lochlin have their eyes on the big prize: the residence of Stonehaven. A mansion filled with rare and valuable antiques is the going plan to come up with the finances for Nina’s mother’s cancer treatment.
After the recent passing of her father, Vanessa takes off to her newly inherited childhood home, Stonehaven, to attempt to achieve clarity from her social media influencer life.
A couple of grifters and an entitled but easy target makes for one heck of a story with lots of twists and turns to leave you guessing!

Very good. Many twists.

This was a REALLY fun listen. I guessed several of the twists, which delighted me (this never happens).

Loved this book! Fun to stray away from the typical romances. Fun POVs and I enjoyed the ending.

This was an entertaining story with a lot of twists! Too much swearing though to ever read again.

I had a hard time getting interested in the book at the beginning, but once Venessa started narrating that’s when I was enveloped into the story. I liked the unreliability of the characters narration. I think I know how this book would end and I was not disappointed. Overall a good read, but took a minute to be interesting.
