3.5 or 4 stars, I listened to this one on Audible. The story was well layered, and the progression of it wasn’t outlandish, but not too predictable. Nina is a con artist who works along with her boyfriend Lachlan, planning to steal antiques or valuables from rich Instagram-ers. When they target a family who Nina crossed paths with in the past, we meet Vanessa and things get complicated. I didn’t love the end but guess I don’t know what else she could have done.

I really enjoyed this dual POV suspense that had so much drama and double crossing it had me unable to put the audiobook down. I felt the ending was rushed and fell apart a bit for me so that's why I've rounded down to 3⭐️

I love a good alternating narrative!! This is a very good story with interesting characters that oppose each other, but have more in common than they think. The ending was a bit rushed, but overall it was an enjoyable read.

It was an okay read. Loved the Tahoe setting. Felt like the story was repetitive and not moving fast enough.
