Kairi Johnson is a college student who grew up in the foster system. When she discovers that she has the ability to time travel, her future — and her past — will be changed forever. Kyle Barada comes from a family of time travelers, but that doesn’t mean he’s an expert on altering timelines. When he tries to fix the mistakes he has made, he and Kairi will have to team up to save the people they love.
“Temporal Dreams” is chock-full of alternate timelines which occasionally leads to confusion. The story switches between Kairi’s point of view and Kyle’s, and the rapid switches between perspectives and timelines can often be a bit dizzying. The plot is otherwise immersive and captivating and perfectly demonstrates how just one action can affect countless others.
