I'm really loving the Holiday family!
As much as I loved the first book in this series, I think I loved this one more because it brought in characters from the Chocolate Lovers series that made me fall in love with Tara's writing!
On to the next one!

Book Review - Cupid Has A Heart On by Tara Sivec
Funny holiday Novella. Should be read after The Stocking Was Hung.
I freaking LOVED The Stocking Was Hung by Tara Sivec, so when the next Holiday book was coming I was a greedy little bitch and dropped everything to read it. Cupid Has a Heart On was even more insane!
I'll start with just a few chapter names:
Chapter 4 - Limp Noodle
Chapter 9 - Pot Vagina
Chapter 11 - Front Butt
Chapter 12 - Ballcicles
If you think Aunt Bobbie was funny in the first book, this time I think Noel's Mom had her beat. If anyone suffered from TMI, it is Mama Holiday.
"Your father's safe word is donuts," she muses. But it's always so confusing. I never know if he wants me to stop spanking him or if he's just hungry."
"DONUTS, DONUTS, DONUTS!" I shout bringing my hands to my ears to make her stop.
Noel is a bit confused. She is living at home with her parents, while Sam asks her every day to move in with him. She is miserable at home with her parents, especially on Thirsty Thursdays (I'll let you find out) but she refuses to move in without contributing and pulling her own weight. She doesn't have a job and can't find one, and has been wallowing in uncertainty. She doesn't know whether the fake engagement was real or not since Sam told her to keep the ring.
It got to the point that her mom had to get her an interview and force her to shower.
"The penis doesn't like a dirty vagina and neither does a prospective boss"
I absolutely LOVED Alex, Sam's buddy, and Scheva was freaking amazing! Except for the boobs, she totally reminded me of a really, really close friend ;-)
"I'm pretty sure I saw God and I might be changing my opinion on settling down with one man instead of testing out as much merchandise as I can fit in my vagina in one week without it getting weird."
And then came more good stuff! Cameos of favorite characters and favorite authors! OMG, writing this review is KILLING me, because there are just too many quotes I need to giggle about with you! I never read anything but the dirty stuff to my husband. This time I was reading everything to him and laughing too hard for him to understand me. Then again, it was 4am and I woke him out of a sound sleep from laughing so hard.

Between Herpes, Porn Tourettes, exploding condoms and..well...Aunt Bobbie, the fun never ended.

Not so sure:
- •Cupid has a Heart On seemed to be zanier and even funnier than The Stocking Was Hung, but it had a little bit less of the sweet and fun romance I loved, so it kind of balanced out.
The Down and Dirty:
Cupid Has A Heart On was another hysterical book from Tara Sivec. She has a knack for making characters you are dying to meet and party with. I would love to eat cookies with them! The Holiday family came back with even more zany characters, and it was like another National Lampoons movie, this time for Valentines Day. You must read The Stocking Was Hung first and meet this family before jumping into Cupid has a Heart On, and you’ll be so glad you did! These books are so much fun, they’ll make you laugh even when you are fighting with your husband, have a raging case of PMS and want to kill your kids in their sleep. I am already imagining Easter bunnies, Peeps, eggs and chick scenes. I’m thinking of the fireworks on Fourth of July (uh-oh), Halloween (that will be a riot!) and Thanksgiving. I hope we get a little taste every Holiday with the Holidays!
P.S. Mr. Ana thought the Heart On on the cover had herpes. Couldn't have been more appropriate!

DNF. The “Holiday” humor got tedious for me by 40%, and the story was lost to it. Push humor too far and funny becomes tiresome.

Aunt Bobbie is something else, I wonder if she will ever get her own book? I hope so!
