Why did it have to end?

What an amazing series! Great surprise at the end. I hope we get to read more stories about the survivors. I love that both series have the strong female protagonist. Kept me hooked the whole time!

Perfect

I have to admit that the ending of book two left me down and out. Everyone scattered to their uncertain fates wasn't a kind place to be left hanging. This conclusion took those loose ends and tied them all up neatly. It wasn't a happy ending for everyone but most apocalypses aren't. I'm very satisfied with those who did make it to the end and that Alaska was mentioned. Overall I feel like there's closure and that's a very satisfying feeling.

This was a great end to the series though I’m sad it is over. I have to admit I was fuzzy on who some of the characters were at first because it had been a while since I read the other books. Also, I never got used to the switch between the two main characters telling the story. I often thought the wrong person was the one talking. Still this was super enjoyable. It was long, but still not quite long enough as I didn’t want it to end!

OH MY GOD, that was freakin intense in a good way. I can’t even with how much I didn’t want that book to be over knowing what I know now. I want more!

Twists and turns you never knew what was going to come and you can’t help but keep on rooting for your favorites. My favorites changed a lot through out these three books. But one stayed the same Sylvie girl she was awesome.

I am sad to be finished but so glad I gave them a shot!
The narration was FANTASTIC!

This was 800+ pages! 118 chapters. It had a "book 1" and "book 2" and I was glad it WAS all one, and not divided into two actual books (just book 3, not 3 and 4). But still, it all went pretty quickly for me. A little sad to finish up the storyline, but I will likely read the "Until the End of the World" series... although there are a few little spoilers having read this companion series first (I know where Cassie ends up). Both series are on Kindle Unlimited, but the latter is a little more pricey to add the audio (and audio is how I've been getting through so many books of late. Multitasking).

The last book had left things really up in the air. Here, comes the final confrontation with Walt and Kearney. We find out what happened with Grace and Eli. We have to deal with more deaths. The epilogue really does wrap things up.

With lots of the action and fighting, between both other humans and zombies, it was easy to make mental comparisons to scenes I'd seen in The Walking Dead. This rates at the top of all the Zombie books I've read.
