I probably would've given this three stars but since the end rather exceeded my expectations I'll bump it up. Plus I've never seen such expressive fish and birds before.

O passo calmo e contemplativo, a sensibilidade da narrativa, o que a palavra escrita nos pode ensinar, as prisões de que podemos escolher sair.

I picked this graphic novel to read knowing nothing about the plot besides the title and its a truly fortunate coincidence that is also about a man living alone in a lighthouse ...

When I was a child and I have not had oportunity to have and read a lot of books, I owned a "dictionary" ,a solitary book , wondering ,learning about about things about that big world. So this story ressoates very much with my soul ,how to found freedom in mind, heart, soul and the "prisions " that other people or ourself put in.

Kind of depressing all the way and I was so guarded and ready for a sad ending. But then came in the surprise.

Great illustration and masterful storytelling with only few words.

A man lives most of his life alone in a lighthouse with imagination his only company. I really enjoyed this one - the art, the feel. With the ending, he gets a triumph many of us can only hope for.
