This book is a masterclass in “show, don’t tell.” I am very impressed with Sekyiamah’s ability to weave together many diverse stories while finding a common thread. As a white woman, I learned several things from this book. I am excited to dive into more of Sekyiamah’s writing.

This is a beautiful collection. It challenged some biases I didn’t know my mind harboured and affirmed to me that there is space for everyone in this world. There is.
