well that was a /good/ read! i liked the story-telling, it was structured very well. the whole story really gives you perspective and THE experience (pov) of living under a black skin. i also like how masculinity was explored, he was able to show and accept emotions which i think is important but quite rare for men. there’s romance, uhuh. but there’s also a lot of racial problems touched on. oh man that was a lot for short book.
