i think the beginning was good and had potential. after that it was smut scene faster another. no lube of romance building. it was jarring.
the premise of this book is a good opportunity to use the mfcs revenge as a way to for them to work together and get closer. instead we got another book using bdsm as healing process for mfc after trauma. i understand it can be healing for some but she doesn’t know these guys. it’s not like she is their mate or something magical leading her to trust them.

What happens when a dark witch finally seeks her revenge and ends up looping her investigators into it too?
I quite enjoyed this book, it had paranormal aspects without being overwhelming with new magic systems and creatures (although maybe a little more world building would have been nice but I'm hopeful for book 2). The revenge plot was a good story point and it worked well with the fact Rory was a FMC not afraid of gore and the darker side of things. The 3 men in Rory's life are all interesting and I enjoyed getting to read from all their POV's throughout the book (Team Ezra!) but some of the spicy scenes did have slightly odd timing. Overall I'm loking forward to book 2, as that cliffhanger was an unexpected but interesting one.

This is an adult dark reverse harem paranormal novel. FMC is a witch who attempts to over come her past trauma with revenge along side with a shifter, elemental and demon. Ends in a cliffhanger but a HEA will be at the end of the duology. ***check trigger warnings***

Thieves and Thorns follows Rory's journey for revenge from past trauma, and along the way she meets Darius, Ezra and Conan. There are some grumpy/sunshine vibes between Darius and Rory, as well as Ezra and Rory, with Rory being the grumpy one which is a nice change! And the TENSION between Conan and Rory

OMG I have no words to describe how much I loved this book. The story is compelling and you just want to know more and when will Rory avenge her past. And the guys: is it possible to not know who you like more? Apparently because neither can Rory. The spice in this book is amazing and very entertaining. I loved it and just want to read the next book

The story started really well, the plot and the main characters were interesting and then I turned the page. The plot then completely disappeared to leave room for (almost) non stop smut.
I'm pretty sure more than 60% of this book is spice. it's really good though!

Wow!! Rory is taking care of her life and gets bombarded by these guys who just make themselves welcome in her life. I was very confused to begin with, but very surprised with how the story goes.
