Yeah this was short and sweet but somehow still packed an emotional punch. Novellas are always hard for me to get into, because I always want more, and I wanted that here but still enjoyed it enough to not be mad that it was so short. Ziggy was one hell of a character and I loved him somehow even more once we got his whole story. Simeon is just the guy for him

This was a re-read for me. But i’ve been super stressed with university lately and I needed a pick me up and I knew that this book would offer me that. This book is just a shot of happiness for me, I just love it. It’s such a heartfelt and feel good love story. This is just the kind of super swoony romance that gives me all the feels. I just really love this book and re-reading it put me in such a good mood. I think I enjoyed this re-read more than I enjoyed the book the first time I read it, because this was the exact book I need right now.

This was a wonderfully sweet story. Lily Morton is one of my absolute favourite authors and never fails to deliver the best characters and most beautiful romances. This is a short story, but in just a handful of chapters she has given us such a glorious love story that made my heart ache and my eyes tear up. Absolutely loved it and will be revisiting this one again!
