Not too much Vic, which is good. But also, not too much Bear, which is bad. Still, another winner.

He uses a rich collection of references to other literary works. Not everything is spelled out and this book features a non-linear time line.
This guy has skills. I like reading his books.

Borrowed on Hoopla through JCPL and was disappointed that the book ended 48 minutes short of the listed time (no chapter listings).

Listening length NOT nine hr, 35 min

Better than books 3 and 4, does a better job with the time jumps

Another enjoyable Longmire mystery. Although I enjoyed the added horse elements and the description of relationships between people and horses, this one's plot is a little far fetched.

A tragic fire in which horses are burned alive and a man is shot in the head six times. Fabulous, atmospheric story - great action sequences with Walt on horseback saving the day. Wonderful secondary characters in Juana and her son, Benjamin. A truly dastardly villian in Wade Basard. Another step forward in the Vic/Walt romance as well.
