Derek moves to Lucky Falls to help his sister with her kids while her husband is overseas, and as soon as he gets to town he's pulled over by Perri and the insta-lust is real. Derek is an EMT and Perri is a cop and she's up for a possible promotion soon and she doesn't need any distractions but Derek is a distraction she WANTS.
There is a fundraiser kissing competition and they enter, after which Perri's brother kind of tricks Derek into being her housemate. The tension and steam is high and hot as f*^k when they finally cave to their desires.
This authors stories all seem to be pretty entertaining quick reads.

A sweet story about falling in love, without drama but maybe a few insecurities. Fantastically narrated by Joe Arden and Erin Mallon, this book is a fantastic, easy listen. This is another cute series by Lauren Blakely featuring a group of tight knit friends trying to find love.

Derek rolls into town, and on a quiet street decides to drive a little faster on his bike. Perry pulls him over and the romance begins. These two are immediately drawn to each other, but it isn't until fate intervenes in the form of a nosy brother that the real chemistry begins. Add in a kissing contest and a roommate situation and this story goes from cute to steamy.

Overall this was a typical fun and flirty read with some yummy steam that is even better in audiobook with fantastic narration. Lauren does this genre so well and this one was no exception. I really liked the cute touches she added to this story to make it unique and super cute! Her books are always enjoyable in my ears.

Almost dnf. Least favorite one of her books but still powered through. The cheese factor was so high and nothing happened in the whole book. Think hallmark meets pornhub with all the bad acting and terrible lines that no one says in real life.

Ugh - LOVED Best Laid Plans and this one did not measure up. Derek was HOTT but I didn’t feel the spark or something was missing, who knows. Maybe the overuse of the word kitten is what turned me off. Pressing on to read Vanessa and Shaw’s story.

I absolutely adored The Feel Good Factor! The instant chemistry between Derek and Perri was off the charts and so hot. I loved the contrast of Derek's outside image (hot tattooed biker) with his sweet, thoughtful personality- I swooned every time he spent time with his nieces and nephew. The banter was fantastic and the build-up of the physical relationship was paced so perfectly. The author always creates fantastic side characters and I enjoyed catching up with Gabe and Arden from Best Laid Plans. I am also so excited for Shaw and Vanessa's upcoming story!
