This novella is a sapphic best friends sister trope and the steam is amazing not to mention frequent, frankly at least half of the book is them getting it on.
Charley is bi-sexual and it’s not treated as an issue it's just a fact.
I love how direct both women are about what they want/need from the relationship and they fit together really well.
When their relationship veers towards BDSM it's also treated as a non issue, it's just a natural progression.
