An enchantingly beautiful testament to the power of storytelling, sisterhood, and love. Hands down one of my favourite graphic novels of all time, 10/10 would recommend to anyone who likes stories about women and what they can do even when the odds are all stacked against them.

This was an enjoyable graphic novel with messages of feminism and female ingenuity.

I loved this book of stories - fairy tales but centered around women's stories and strength. I also loved the graphics.

I'm not really sure how to review a graphic novel, but I really enjoyed this one. It's a feminist balm for the soul when you feel like screaming about the patriarchy, although it still leaves you wanting to scream about the patriarchy, so maybe not that effective a balm. Maybe it's more of a sense of camaraderie in the fact that other people are screaming too.

Not sure I have any real criticism for this one. It's simple, but in such a nice way. The art is truly gorgeous, extremely stylized and unique. Sisterhood and a parody of manly men told in the distinct voice or oral tradition.
