I was finally able to finish this one today. It's a must have for anybody interested in true crime. It's strictly informative and doesn't glorify serial killers or their crimes and offers a lot of background information. It's the 2nd edition, published in 2006, so it's the most up to date encyclopedia on the topic that I'm aware of. Fascinating read, but not for squeamish.

Bought this for my Serial Murders class for College. It has quite a lot of information and I'm glad I bought this one instead of renting it.

I thought this book was extremely informative. I really enjoyed the flow and amount of information for each subject. I highly recommend this book is interested in any form on criminology.
