This is amazing dark mafia read that I devoured in one setting and was pulled right into this story from the very first pages. This is so good.

ARC review
Emily Rose is a completely new author to me, as well as this particular Genre. I have read a few Dark Mafia books and find it too be too gruesome, or lack any sort of plot beyond all the "business". Little Mouse, however, sucked me in right away. As soon as I started, despite the abuse poor Gia was facing, I was sucked into her life as she knew it. Growing up thinking that the only use for a woman in her world was for having boys to carry on the family legacy, and beyond that was expendable. Gia and Nico's relationship was full of tension from the beginning, but you could feel Nico's love despite him not understanding his emotions.

Gia was strong and resilient, but sweet and innocent as well. She was able to hold her own and stand up for herself with Nico despite being in the situation she was. Her bond with Sophia was amazing to see progress throughout the book. Nico, while domineering and possessive, was sweet and took care of Gia that just makes you love him that much more.

This is a bit of a slow burn, but once it got going it was so worth the wait.

I am very excited to see what happens with the rest of these characters as the series progresses.

This is my FIRST ever ARC and, while the review may be a bit rough, I am honored to have been chosen to dive into this Mafia life early was beyond exciting.

OMG! I have read Emily's MC series and loved them but this new mafia path that she has started down had me absolutely hooked! I love mafia romances and this book is right up there as a favorite. It is gritty, features an "Alpha" that gives off touch her and d!e vibes, a sassy FMC, and tons of spice!

Don't let Nico's nickname for Gia fool you as she is feisty. Once she was no longer under her father's rule, she really came out of her shell. I loved this for her as she deserved better. She really won me over when she found herself captive at Nico's and kicked him upside the head and ran.

I knew that Emily could bring the heat, but this was a whole another level of HEAT. I think I found my new book boyfriend in Nico.
