I adored this book! The cozy vibes in combination with the trans and non-binary protagonists — all of whom were beautifully written — made this exactly the read I was
looking for. I wish this kind of representation of gender in books had been a thing when I was a teenager, but knowing it's out in the world now and reading it is still really wonderful and exciting. I loved seeing the reality of chronic illness, different family constellations, and the challenges of making empathetic decisions in a world that's not set up for it as authentic parts of the story, rather than feeling tagged on. I'll definitely read more works by this author!

absolutely obsessed with this book. the character development is incredible and i would kill for Babs, Iris and the boy.
