The information in this book is very interesting. However, the book itself seemed disorganized. The chapters leap between plants and topics.

Fun read! Very well researched! I think most people in my phone book got texts while I was reading this: "did you know Kudzu is a legume?" To the sister traveling to Australia, "stay away from the stinging tree!!!!" Traces of stories in her nonfiction speak well to what you should expect more fully fleshed out in her fiction debut, GIRL WAITS WITH GUN.

super interesting and now I'm a bit more skittish in the garden. Plants, snakes and spiders...what else is out to get me!!

Did you know Poison Oak isn't poisonous? Lots of people are allergic to it and have severe reactions to contact with it.

This book is riddled with facts about plants from the exotic to household. Fun and quick read. Also helpful when buying safe plants for the home.

Entertaining. I read the Kindle version, which put the illustration for the next selection on the page previous, like an addendum to the previous selection. I'd have liked more pictures in general, especially detailing the plant being discussed, but identification was not the real purpose of this book.

I dug this book. I learned a lot about all the different plants that can kill, maim or irritate. Would have been nice to have full color illustrations tho.

This was really interesting and lots of neat facts. I can definately say that I don't think I will ever eat anything out of the wild again though without knowing for sure!

Another interesting book by Amy Stewart. A nice book to leave (or bring) when you need some short reads. As always very informative.
