FINALLY STUFF HAPPENS!!!! it's sort of like ashton looked into my brain and was like "oh they didnt like how slow mickey 7 was? they couldn't picture literally any characters or settings? let me fix it in this book." also, again--i love the perspective on aliens. it feels very real-world. i love the creepers dearly. the collective freaks me out, but again--very cool.

Turns it around with a great story and setting in the end, so I enjoyed it. However be prepared for the first quarter of the book where every single character acts like petulant children for no readily apparent reason. Super annoying.
