Very impressed in that I liked this one more than the previous, not a lot of sequels that's true of. A bit more reflection of interesting philosophical themes and a little better of a plot.

I'm not going too much into what the overall plot here is as I may give away some spoilers for the previous book if you haven't read it.
2 years have passed since the last book and Niflheim is enjoying a period of summer however winter is fast approaching and it's looking like it might be rough, leaving the some characters to face up to some decisions made in the previous book.
I really loved this book (as you can probably tell having finished is within a day of the last book), all the same things were there that I loved about Mickey 7, all the fun, humour, action, characterisation.
Antimatter Blues lead on from Mickey 7 seamlessly to the point I feel Ashton possibly wrote them together then split them later.
All in all it was a great read once again and I'd totally recommend you check it out.

Great fun, a zippy read, a little goofy, a little sentimental, a lot of action. Imagine if Andy Weir 1. Wasn’t hung up on (entertaining) minutiae and 2. Was a good writer.
