What an amazing novel.

Tara Road has turned out to be one of my favorite books. That Danny Lynch is quite a character and the supporting cast just so believable. This is one novel that makes the reader wonder about the price of true love.

This is in my top three favorite books of all time.

I truly enjoyed this book once it got to the actual story. The first half of the book was about Danny and Maria and their life in Ireland. The second half was about the actual switching of the houses with Marilyn in the U.S., which is when the story got interesting.

I love the community Maeve Binchy created in her writing. This was the first book I read of hers. It was also the 1st time I was telling a story to someone about a friend, only to realise it was characters from this book.
