One thing I know I’ll never tire of is Ann Rule’s writing. Every time I pick up one of her books I know it’s a guaranteed good read and there’s something very priceless about that! This wasn’t my absolute fave by her but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I prefer her longer stories over her shorter ones and this collection was mostly shorter ones. My favourite had to be the bus shooting one, normally I prefer more traditional true crime stories but this one was just so fascinating! The other stories were excellent as well but that one really stood out from the rest for me.

100% biased because my grandmother's one of the psychics consulted in one of the cases.

( tw: this book features a case that is transphobic but it took place in the 70s and was written about in the 90s so i’m not knocking rule for that bc unfortunately that was just commonplace at the time )
i found the stories okay, but idk if it’s just my lack of interest in reading lately or maybe the stories weren’t all that good. either way, another book read for my rule readathon! nice!

This book by Ann Rule is one that covers several cases. I prefer the ones that are written about only one case, but I have nothing against this book. The facts of the cases were presented in a tasteful and factual manner, as per usual with Ann Rule. It was a decent book.

I've read a few Anne Rule books and although they're "classics" in the true crime world, of course they're out-of-date with current forensic knowledge & this one in particular did not age well (especially regarding the "that was no lady" case)
